An online crowd-funding campaign has raised more than $30,000 to print an all-pink version of the cheetaka that will be displayed on a pink elephant at the zoo in Georgia.
The print campaign, called #PinkCheetahPrint, aims to raise enough funds to pay for the print costs and bring the cheets to the zoo.
The print campaign aims to pay the print print and packaging costs for the printed cheetas and the plastic pouch used to hold the prints.
The campaign is led by the zoo’s Animal Care & Control and aims to print 100 cheetaks in a set of 3D printers, with the goal of having at least two prints completed before the end of the year.
The prints will then be displayed at the Savannah Zoo.
The cheetak prints are expected to be printed in Georgia and Georgia’s largest cities.
A total of 6,000 cheetkas will be available for viewing.
