Converse is on the cover of this week’s Mashable.
What better way to get an idea of how the brand is developing than to put a pair of sneakers on your feet?
The sneakers, featuring the iconic “Converse” logo and a “DUCKDUCK” motif, are set to make their debut on May 3rd in San Francisco at the 2017 Converse Showcase.
According to the press release, the sneakers will be made in the United States and will be sold exclusively through Converse’s online store.
The release also notes that the sneakers “will be the first to be available to U.S. consumers through Convex.”
The brand has already released a handful of high-profile sneakers to date, including the “Tucker” and the “Laker,” both of which featured the famous Nike logo.
The latter sneaker, however, had a design that made it seem as though the shoes were meant for men, rather than women.
As a result, many fans were left feeling disappointed when the sneakers were never released.
Despite these setbacks, Converse said in a statement to Mashable that it’s looking forward to sharing more details about the sneakers at the Converse 2017 Showcase, including what models the shoes will be available in and more.
